Well, I applaud you guys for shouting out your solutions. But if you have not known we have them here. All government services are paid through the Government eGateway (GePG). We were working on making local ventilators but then with Covid infection rate we deemed unnecessary. The only thing we (unfortunately) don't do here is not shouting out our innovation and that's swiftly changing.

Nobody said you are not innovating but I just said we ain't doing it at the same pase. The not shouting part.... A good innovation is a good innovation even if you choose to not talk about it... It will always shine and the world will notice it.. so I object your statement on not shouting part just means they are not yet good enough to speak for themselves... It's like mpesa nobody had to shout for the world to see there is a good innovation made here

Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru na kiasi Eldoreti, almost 60% of Kenyan are poorest. There is no way you can compare to TZ Unless if you are proud to have few people who manage the whole economy of the country leaving large percentage of people drying with hunger

Can you explain how is MPESA a Kenyan innovation?
Other than that I don't see any extraordinary solution there. They are great things but do not warrant the statement by MK254

If I had time I would counter with a liat from here. But it is December, busy month. But may be someone else from Tz can do that.

The DIT have done a lot of those innovation in the past. You can try google to get an idea.

The not shouting part, I think is currently undebatable. I said it upfront. If you read top comment it seems as if Tanzania is not innovating, somehow dumb with brain that, even if combined with the rest of EA countries can't beat Kenya. That's false.

We do innovate a lot. We have solid solutions in many areas. We just don't do a very good job marketing and shouting at the top of the roof.

That's rapidly changing. But as much as it is getting better, we are as now lagging.

So I guess time to edit top comments to reflect a reality. They're misleading at best

Educate me please. It have long being claimed that way and no one yet have explained why. I don't have any problem if it happened to be a Kenyan innovation. I have no issue with anyone genuinely claiming his or her innovation. But have issues always with false claims!

You are mis informed kenya under the new constitution of 2010 is devolutionised we have counties and county governments with there own governor a governor is like a president of a county with a full assembly and each and every county makes its own budget and governs itself meaning the whole of kenya develops even the north Eastern where nothing used to happen is now creating tourists sites moyale is a big town now hola is a desert but it now has development nobody cares about nairobi anymore... And how can tanzania be developing if when they build a bridge and flyover they claim that's development...
