I know Tanzanians do not understand the concept of free speech, but this is the law of Kenya paraphrased.

"You have the right to speak and express your opinion at any moment, only that you should not incite ethnic tensions or incite people to violence".

The MP was not arrested for insulting the president, that is what the media want you to believe(They have to do it to be sensational). The charge sheet before court actually states incitement to violence and majorly due to phrases he said before this clip one of them being "If you dare touch william ruto, we will tear this country down".
This and other phrases are what landed him in police cells not insulting Uhuru or his mother. Uhuru is constantly insulted online by Kenyans, other MP's like oscar sudi, but if you incite violence that is no longer lawful.
If Mama ngina has a problem with what he said she has the right to bring a civil suit against him for defamation.

You need to notify police before holding such an event. This does not mean you need the permission of the police, it means you use whatever channel to inform the police you will have a huge gathering of peoples. This was determined during protests in 2014, 2017 when court agreed with opposition that an announcement on TV is a notice to the police.
That is to make sure they are aware of a gathering of people and to make necessary security preparations to maintain law and order during and after the event.

Please give us that part of clip so that we all can prove your words. Even in Tanzania, when you hear people have been arrested because of their words of incitement, it is exactly the same words, but when that words are spoken in Tanzania, Kenyans call them freedom of expression, but when they are spoken by Kenyans they turn to be incitement and deserve arrest, stop your nonsense, Kenya has never had freedom of expression since independence, you either be arrested or assassinated like Jacob Juma.

Another MP has also insulted the president and his whole family but he has not been arrested, because His speech did not contain anything that can be considered an incitement to violence.

NB: Tanzanians next time get the facts right, before trying to get into matters above your pay grade.

The same procedure like Tanzania, but when is done here in Tanzania, you call it different name" Tanzania Hakuna uhuru wa kujieleza",. Stop your hypocrisy"

Incitement in Tanzania is insulting the president do not get it twisted, which is different from Kenya where the president is insulted everyday by citizens, media and other politicians.
The opposition in Tanzania is traumatized, oppressed and targeted, infact the Tanzania police chief bragged how he will beat up opposition protesters like dogs, something you will not hear in Kenya.

NB: Go look at the court proceedings then come back and talk like a man. By the way Kenyan courts have all active and past cases online, do research.

We are talking about this MP, why he was arrested by just expressing his feelings?, if you have that part of clip which contains those words please bring it here, other wise keep quite don't try to cook story

Even Kenya incitement is insulting the president, very good example is this MP, because has mentioned mama Ngina Kenyatta, everyone is yapping

Wacha ujinga wewe, polisi wanamkamata kwasababu alikua amekusanya watu ili kufanya mkutano kupiga BBI, wamewafukuza watu waliokuwepo huyo kiongozi wameondoka naye, hovyo kabisa nchi yenu hiyo.

The same procedure like Tanzania, but when is done here in Tanzania, you call it different name" Tanzania Hakuna uhuru wa kujieleza",. Stop your hypocrisy"
I see you really are bent on being ignorant or is english the problem. Unlike in Tanzania, any Kenyan does not need permission from the police to assemble but you must notify the police.

summary
Kenya:
No permission from police needed only notify the police about your gathering through any channel radio, tv, letter, village crier etc.
Tanzania: You need written permission from police,

see the difference?

We are talking about this MP, why he was arrested by just expressing his feelings?, if you have that part of clip which contains those words please bring it here, other wise keep quite don't try to cook story

As stated go an find the court proceedings like you did the clips. They are all online. Or are you only interested in finding things that confirm your bias?

Even Kenya incitement is insulting the president, very good example is this MP, because has mentioned mama Ngina Kenyatta, everyone is yapping
Insulting the president is not incitement or a crime in Kenya, this was determined in a supreme court ruling in 2015. Go find the ruling from the judiciary website , unless you do not actually know how to look for information on the web.

Also the court proceedings for this MP does not mention the insults, it mentions the incitement to violence by using phrases like "we will tear down the country and government" among others, which is actually illegal in Kenya.

Advice: Before commenting always look for arguments that may contradict your bias then you will mature into reasoning.

NB: Now go and look for the court proceedings just as you are quick to find things that confirm your bias.
