Tanzanians assist to stop Jubilee dirty tricks on other democratic loving Kenyans including those moderate Kikuyus that support reforms. They all need to be liberated from GEMA's greedy that applies under-belt tactics to anyone's that supports another party/coalition apart from Jubilee!

Boycott brookside products y? Because its owned by the Kenyatta family? this is a very shallow argument with undercurrents of ludicrous and jealousy.. The GEMA people are not responsible for the troubles in Kenya, in fact the country has really developed under the the leadership of GEMA. Do you remember how Kenya s economy grew under Jomo Kenyatta only to be ruined by Moi ( a non GEMA) . Kibaki fixed the economy. Brookside is owned by the a GEMA family. its not a coincidence that GEMA people have successfully run their businesses and country well. They are good managers. Wacha wivu my frendi.
 
Yes cause they (Jubilees) apply the same dirty tricks to frustrate the businesses of supporters of their opponents e.g. Macharia, though a Kikuyu but his businesses have serious suffered from his Citizen Tv lock out and now Keroche Breweries where he has a significant stake! Cause of underground hate cum propaganda campaigns by a kingpin Uhuru Kenyatta and his co that instigate fellow tribalist Kikuyus and Kalenjins (to an extent) to boycott his businesses cause he supports RAO irregardless of constitution of Kenya that gives everyone a right to support whoever he/she wants while discourages any sort of nepotism cum parochial politics!

You are just pathetic and that reminds me of a period in 2007 when the exact same kind of arguments arose, well if someone feels justified to boycott any product they can go ahead and do it i am yet to see shopkeepers dishing them out with a whip.

We have empty-heads that have nothing to bring for debate. S. K Macharia's Citizen TV station is somehow the only one and a few others that broadcast in over 20 vernacular stations where he plotted to chase revenue streams by being issued license from the same government that is now frustrating him on issues of hate speech and incitement. Some of these things are not related and should not coincide with anything political or should not be used to get opinions from the public domain unless the thread starter is part of those schemes. As far as I know any entity that presents itself as the media should always be non-partisan!

We had a good debate here with Royals and co. concerning the same SK macharia!!

To the thread starter , WHAT IS YOUR TAKE? would you stop proposing such nonsense! you are as empty as those you are campaigning with.

The government of Mwai Kibaki backs Uhuru Kenyatta and has been instrumental in frustrating those that do not tow the line. Sk Macharia, Keroche, Imanyara and many others who have the tenacity to break from the mould will attest to this.
Kenyans, Tanzanians and indeed all East Africans should realize that their money is their voice. Boycotting those institutions that use their profits to impede on the rights of others is part and parcel of the freedom of expression enshrined in our constitution. One has the right to choose who he or she will do business with and again, your hard earned money is your speech.

This is the case in all democracies! Just a few months ago, people boycotted Papa John's pizza and Trump's businesses over their incendiary remarks and persistent attacks on president Obama and minorities. On a grand level, at the behest of the United States, Kenyans, Tanzanians and many other nations are not doing business with Iran over their alleged pursuit of nuclear weapons and this is the expression that I allude to.

The argument is clear, the Kenyatta's are using their billions and connections in government to frustrate those they believe should be behind their quest and the average Kenyans can make an impact by using their hundreds of shillings to defend the rights and freedom of those that are brave enough to have a different opinion!

I suggest Chapter four, Article: 36 of our constitution!

Dhuks, Kabaridi and company, you have had your say and it is time you learnt to respect the views of those that disagree with you as long as whatever is expressed is within their constitutional rights. You cannot vilify everyone that does not subscribe to the same ideology as you. It is within your right to call me empty and describe my stance as none sense but at the end of the day, it is my wallet, my money and I will choose with what I will spend it on.
 
The issue here is whether Macharia's Royal Media follows media ethics!? I am 100% sure they do! And the owners political orientation should not be his media policies as i am pretty sure his chief editor knows pretty well about these conditions! Having said this i also believe u can't bar 100% media houses inclination towards certain parties! It happens in the US, it happens everywhere! No excuses, what'so ever to shut down the Citizen transmitter so is to sabotage businesses linked to Macharia! It's simply unacceptable...
 
I believe i pointed out the misinformation on sk macharia on the right thread, you can continue to mislead those who half-read news. Keroche breweries is being fought by kikuyus apparently but if you look at what the complaint is about you will realise it has nothing to do with politics. To validate your misinformation you have to bring some innuendos so that the lily livered can fall by the wayside.

One shudders at the thought that there are millions more like you who only see tribe but we find comfort in the fact that you will be weeded out. The discussion was one on expression and it takes a wild imagination to plaster you "GEMA" goo on this one.
 

Dhuks, I begin with the obvious, you are an Uhuru Kenyatta sympathizer! You havent advanced any serious argument but sought refuge in tribe from the get-go. Where did I declare that this was a dispute among tribes? You believe that Uhuru Kenyatta is the crown prince of Central and therefore any action aimed at the Kenyatta empire is an attack on the whole province.

Let it be clear, I am taking aim at the vast Kenyatta empire and the stolen billions that they are using to buy Kenyans. I am taking aim at the status quo that continues to hide behind tribe and their reactionary pawns. At the end of the day, the Kenyattas will wine and dine in their mansions as you fight their wars from your tiny Eastland apartment. There is one Kenyatta for every one million paupers ready to fight their wars and defend them at all costs.

Those that have dared to oppose the prince are at the receiving end and this is a FACT!

I will oppose anything reckless that you guys say and whether you appreciate it or not its up to you, the same trend was witnessed in 2007 and we all know what happened; i am in Kenya and if it burns i burn with it while you are tucked overseas you can afford to preach thinly veiled tribalism in the guise of attacking Kenyatta but then again when the vile is against kikuyus its not tribalism only the opposite holds true.

I will have you know that Uhuru Kenyatta does not represent every single Kikuyu under our blue sky and claiming that any criticism of the Kenyattas is an attack on every Kikuyu is the definition of tribalism.

I speak without equivocation and mine is a pointed criticism of the Kenyattas, Kibakis, Mois and Rutos of this world but expecting you to understand this is obviously asking too much. You are no different from those politicians that have fleeced Kenya and the moment they are questioned they run back to their countryside and denounce the attack on "our" people.

I do not carry a Kenyan passport nor was I born in Kenya but I have family and friends in the country and it is as much my home as it is yours-refer to chapter 3 of the constitution. This is another example of your tribal mentality which informs you that anyone that does not talk like you, look like you or come from the same region as you should not be allowed to speak.

Again, my issue is with the Kenyattas, Kibakis, Mois and the rest that are using the wealth they have amassed illegally to drown out the voices of the majority. I realize that is code for tribe in your disturbed mind.

whatever you are trying to convey through this thread is not related anyhow to the woes S.K macharia is facing as a media practitioner! even the heading itself does not match with what is to be debated. plenty of double-speak when it comes to the sympathizers of RAO. The deals that S. K. macharia makes with government concerns mainly his aspirations as a business-man to make and maximize profits. Accd to what i had said earlier, it's all about the money!! of dollars if you like. And when these deals are struck understand that no common pple are within sight.

So now S.K macharia has fallen from grace of his sponsors, and now the issue has to become a public issue or agenda or even a political issue to be debated by commoners, hell no! from a humanitarian point of view it is a reasonable thing to try and define the cause and effects of the issue, but it acts as a lesson. before you enter any relationship, you have to know who you are dealing with! there is no need of acting as jilted lovers all-way yet the initial details of the deal did not involve the massess

I retain my earlier stance that the media should be always non-partisan to politics, The owner might have a political right/stand which is allowed by law but it is not ethical for him/or her to use it to endorse particular and discredit other candidates in the presidential race. True that! media has been an useful tool for populist candidates to get power, for instance in germany and US. But kenya is not America or germany! hope you can get that first. you have to get the peoples mandate. And this is always the agenda of election is all about.

Ok now it is crunch time! :-*:bounce:I see! the new constitution and recommendations according to the jurisdiction of the IEBC state that diaspora elections will start in 2017 or somewhere there. And in-fact if i had the power I could bar diaspora people from voting lol.:high5::high5: You were since born and live in a foreign country everything taken care of, you can afford a lucrative education you can pay mortgages without hassles ..etc and America that have developed in many spheres, name them education, transportation, infrastructure yet you think your thought or views will resonate with those of many other Kenyans many of whom are struggling to make a living, some that demand peace at all costs. :-*

Personally you admire odinga for presidency because he is a luo. Same case with luos and Obama in America, they like him because he is their own! never minding about foreign policy, he is yet to come to Kenya, and that is the hypocracy with US presidents, last time I saw Mrs Clinton here she was treading all over statehouse to KICC like the colossus of Rhodes campaigning for particular candidates. The other Obama's deputy was here at the KICC but all he was saying were that kenya should conform to the ICC. Carson was the other day issuing innuendos about unspecified consequences for the kenyan voter.

Have you read the vision 2030, if you would have read it then you would understand That the vision there does not mention kikuyus or luos, it prescribes quality life for all. good promotive health, reforms in education, all these do not seem like tribal innuendos to me:-* :-*
 
One thing i luv abt Gema z dat r peaceful pipo n only bcome violent if attacked n one thing u shld knw bycott gema products if u wish esp kenyans n i can say it if it was nt 4 gema Kenya wld b poorer than Somali jst luk ova 60% of businesses in Kisumu z Gema n yet u want to bycott lets c who will suffer being jelousy z nt the solution jst work hard n overtake them i believe Kenya z a capitalist country n anyone cn bcome rich
